Max Lowry
Property finance done with creativity, structure and detail.
A sharp young mind. A go-getter approach.
Max is one of Sabea Financial's senior finance brokers and a property investor in his own right. He brings the energy and creative thinking of someone early in their career with the technical depth of someone who's done the work.
His focus is on structure. Most clients have lending in place that worked when it was set up, but hasn't been revisited as their position has changed. Max digs into the detail — usable equity, borrowing capacity, loan setup, lender fit — and surfaces the credit options most brokers wouldn't bother looking for.
Max is award-winning and well-respected by clients for thinking laterally and explaining the moving parts in plain language. He has a particular passion for working with property owners who want a clearer view of the lending side of their portfolio.
If you're a property owner who wants to understand what your equity could support from a credit perspective, Max is the person to speak to. Investment decisions about what to do with that capacity remain with you and your financial adviser.
How much usable equity do you have?
Most lenders let you borrow up to 80% of your home's value before lender's mortgage insurance applies. The difference between that 80% threshold and what you currently owe is your indicative usable equity — a starting point for understanding what could potentially be drawn from a credit perspective. Final borrowing capacity depends on serviceability and lender criteria.
Your property & loan.
Two numbers — your home's current value and your remaining loan balance. We'll show you exactly how much equity you can access.
We've crunched the numbers. Where should we send them?
Your usable equity figure is on the next screen. We'll also email you a copy.
This is the equity you could access right now without paying lender's mortgage insurance — based on the standard 80% lending threshold.
That's your indicative usable equity.
It's a starting figure based on the 80% LVR threshold. The actual amount you could access depends on your serviceability (income, expenses, existing commitments), the lender's policy, and how your current loans are structured. Max can run through all of this with you, no obligation.
What you choose to do with any equity you access — whether that's renovating, buying another property, or anything else — is a personal decision. Where that involves investment products (shares, ETFs, managed funds, etc.), Sabea will refer you to an appropriately licensed financial adviser. Sabea provides credit assistance only.
Want a clearer view of your lending position?
If you've calculated your indicative usable equity and want to understand what it could realistically support — across structuring, serviceability and the right lender — Max is the broker to call.
